I got a new car that uses a fob instead of a key, so I chose this because I can hook it on the outside of my leather purse where I can easily see it. It’s also small enough to fit in the console of my car when I get in and drive. It’s sturdy enough that I don’t worry about it falling apart and losing my fob, though when I know I’ll be walking around somewhere outside for a while I do put it inside my purse for extra security. The brown leather and brass together has an upscale look and feel and it matches my purse perfectly. I was also drawn to the name of this company, a biblical reference which resonates strongly with me.This key chain is totally useless after only using it for 5 weeks.When it arrived I thought the clasp was not as sturdy or up to the standards of my previous keychain, but I thought it would serve me for longer than 5 weeks.Since you can't tell in the photos, the new chain is the more yellow brass one on the left. As you can see it has failed.The key chain on the right failed after OVER 3 YEARS of daily use. Plus I had paid $9.99 for it.Just 5 weeks ago I paid $20 for the Ruth & Boaz key chain that broke just after the return period expired.I feel like I have been swindled.Quality of the leather and brass looks good. However, the clasp is sooooo tiny. See pic comparing to another (broken) keychain I have. I'm a small female with fairly small hands, and this is hard to hold and open, much less clip to a belt loop. But, I'm going to keep it as I've not been able to find another with the bigger clip that I prefer. I'd gladly pay more for a keychain of this quality if it had a bigger clasp. My experience with these lobster style clasps is that eventually the spring fails rendering them useless. Could have a bit bigger clasp, almost too small for pants. The dark brown was more orange and lighter than expected. Isn’t worth $20 but you can tell the leather is real by the smell and it’s hearty brass. You get what you pay for.Nothing to dislike. Item came as promised in a beautiful bag(surprised)! It looks high end and feels high end. Exactly what I ordered.Real leather, good color, clips are very sturdyCame on time and in lovely box. Looks great as it ages as well.
