I purchased this to replace my old key safe. I was delighted to find it at such a reasonable price. My only caveat is to check the battery compartment on a regular basis. The only reason my old one had to be replaced was that I did NOT check it, and the batteries corroded. Not a fault of the safe, but a fault of the user. Since it came in a set of three, I installed one, donated one to a charitable auction, and put the third one away for "backup" (or to use as a gift).
