It is the first Tesla key ring accessory for Model 3 and Model Y developed by CNICK. Great replacement for Model 3 and Model Y key fob and key card. It enables locking, unlocking, and starting the car with a simple finger tap. One ring works with multiple cars. It operates in the same way as the key card using NFC/RFID technology. Tesla ring is a fantastic backup, in case your phone has died, because it never needs charging. The ring has a unique antenna integrated circularly to assure the best performance, therefore the signal is transmitted from the ring circle and requires tapping a knuckle on the sensor, not the side of the ring itself. You need to find a sensor spot location on the door where you tap the ring. The ring is very secure, it has the same security level as the Tesla key card. We produce rings from exotic natural woods, like Redwood, Ebony wood, dyed tulipwood, natural Koa wood, etc. It fits fingers perfectly and ensures users' comfort throughout the day. Every inch of the wood used for manufacturing is precisely selected, to ensure the durability of the ring. We do not use whole pieces of wood to carve the ring, as it does not assure longevity. CORRECT HAND POSITION: The ring have unique antenna integrated circularly to assure the best performance, therefore signal is transmitted from the ring circle. Find the right sensor spot on the B pillar under the driver side camera and touch your knuckle onto the B pillar (knocking position) and do not touch the ring directly to the car.
Works as advertised when a manual lock or unlock is needed. I had to return one as it was cracked at shipment but the second one fit and worked perfect. Setup was a breeze and I no longer have concerns about not having my key card. It’s a little expensive for the material and style but I like the functionality of it.
